Italian coastguard finds Mediterranean marine life flourish during the pandemic

As busy maritime lanes towards the Italian coastlines came to a near halt during the Covid-19 lockdowns, marine life appears to be improving with more species moving into the vacant spaces left by people and ships. Lieutenant Alessandro Mino, commander of the coast-guard diving unit, has said that the water transparency and reduction in suspended materials were some of the key features observed.

Well, obviously. Once humans stop interfering in the way Mother Nature functions, it will set itself back to normal on its own. It does not need our 'help', it simply requires us to not screw up things further.
