Trump cheated on his SAT, according to Mary Trump’s new book

President Trump cheated on his SAT, according to a book by his niece Mary Trump. In her book set to be published next week, Mary reveals that Trump paid a proxy to take the SAT for him. The score is believed to have helped Trump gain admittance as an undergraduate to the University of Pennsylvania’s prestigious Wharton business school. White House denied the allegation.

I’m not convinced by the narcissist narrative. Trump seems able to do self depreciating humour and appears to happily keep people around who will disagree with him. Bolton being a great example of that. Very different views but the problem didn’t seem to be Bolton having different views, it was from what I’ve seen him sabotaging peace moves with North Korea with his Libyan solution comments. Probably more to it than just that one incident but I have seen a variety of sources spread over time that he welcomes dissenting opinions if they are constructive. Trump does seem to like to be the center of attention but when I’ve watched events with him he seems eager to highlight others. I suspect narcissist is a handy narrative for his opponents but the reality seems to be much more complex that that.

So the big reveal of the book is that Trump might have paid someone else to take his SAT when he was young? What a let down. For some big scary boogie man who is a secret mastermind able to dupe the US into believing that he isn't Putin's sock while simultaneously being too dumb to hide it, this is really nothing. Even if it's somehow true(which given the track record on these kinds of claims... ), this reveal isn't even worth the price of the book. I expected nothing, and somehow I am still disappointed.
