The death rate among children that contract the virus is a small fraction of 1%. The purpose of public policy is to evaluate and balance the risks and needs of people. If the death rate was 1% or higher then I would agree that this is a bad idea but it’s not even close. If we keep the country closed until absolutely nobody dies then we will never reopen. This is the prudent decision, regardless of what discredited media propagandists pushing false narratives are saying.

Kids need to go back to school. This puts things back to some semblance of normalcy and I the students didn't learn as much from remote learning as they normally would in a classroom.
