Trump administration moves to formally withdraw US from WHO

The Trump administration has submitted to the UN its notice to withdraw from the WHO by July 6, 2021, multiple news publications reported Tuesday. The decision has been communicated to the Congress, and Stéphane Dujarric, spokesman for the UN secretary-general, has also confirmed to have received the notice. Withdrawing from the organization requires a one-year notice before becoming final.

So let me get this straight. COVID started in China. That means the WHO was responsible for dealing with COVID long before we were. I remember the information they gave being conflicting, disorganized, and in some cases simply wrong. Yet the POTUS's response to the pandemic is bad. So we should fund the organization that allowed it to spread to begin with and it's headed by the country that spawned the outbreak. Did I catch that right CNN?

I love this topic because it literally proves most of these comments don't even read past the headlines. If you read the article (Even fox news) the withdrawal doesn't take into effect until JULY 2021, meaning if Donald Trump doesn't win 2020 the decision to withdrawal from the WHO can be reversed...
