US says foreign students whose classes move online cannot stay

The US said Monday it would not allow foreign students to remain in the country if all of their classes are moved online in the fall, unless they switch to a course with in-person tuition. Under the updated rules, new visas will not be issued to students at schools or programs that are entirely online. The rule applies to holders of F-1 and M-1 visas, which are for academic and vocational students
