Spain’s Catalonia makes wearing face masks in public, compulsory

The resurgence of COVID-19 in Catalonia, Spain has pushed the region into a secondary lockdown. This resulted in the official authorities announcing the compulsory usage of face masks in public. Quim Torra, the President of Catalonia’s regional government stated that the proposal is said to be confirmed on Wednesday and will be taken into effect on Thursday.
