Public health experts have criticized the CDC and several states for mixing antibody tests with diagnostic tests in their reporting of COVID-19 test results. Using both can inflate testing numbers. This also complicates the picture for state officials who rely on these metrics to make decisions about reopening society. https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/20200601/viral-antibody-test-number-policy-sows-confusion The CDC is lumping positive COVID-19 viral and antibody tests together. Here's why that's bad. https://www.livescience.com/cdc-combined-covid-19-diagnostic-and-antibody-tests.html

Ok, it isn't under control. Now what? You want us to shutdown again? Until when? There is no guarentee there will ever be a vaccine. Even if there is one created it may only be 50 to 70 percent effective. Until the virus disappears? That isn't how viruses work. The best, most practical thing to do is live life, open up, protect those that are vulnerable, monitor hospitals and act responsibility/protect yourself and those you care about the best you can. That is all we can do. 99 percent of people that get it (litterally 99 percent) will survive. Well over 99 percent of those below the age of 55 will survive. This virus is here now, like the flu or AIDs or pneumonia. We need to stop panicking, face the fact that life is just a little more dangerous now and move on.
