Hong Kong schools to be suspended post spike in the number of COVID-19 cases

Hong Kong witnessed 42 new cases as of Thursday amongst which 34 were locally transmitted. It marked as the second consecutive day of rising cases in the city. Due to the fears over the community spread, Hong Kong’s Education Bureau announced on Friday, the suspension of all schools from Monday onwards.

Meanwhile, in the USA, there is a push to reopen schools because 'its the same like going to Walmart or Home Depot' or there is the threat of being removed of the tax exemption status.
