More than 60,500 new COVID-19 infections were reported across the US on Thursday, setting a one-day record. The total represents a slight rise from Wednesday, when there were 60,000 new cases. The country now has 3.22M cases with over 135K deaths.
This is an indication of greatly increased testing and is a good thing. Deaths are the stat that matters and those deaths are staying LOW.
