The rumor that Far Cry 6 will appear at the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event now has some substance to it after a listing appeared on Hong Kong’s PlayStation Store. Ubisoft Forward will take place this Sunday, July 12th at 12PM PDT / 9PM CEST
I'm worried about far cry, really didn't like the direction 5 & 5.5 started taking. Even without the forced diversity stuff. Will take quite a bit of convincing to have me pay for another.
This series is just another rehash each time. Just like Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty, they are just pumping out much the same thing over and over. People need to stop buying this crap so they start coming up with some new ideas.
Just like films, people vote with their wallets. But its easy money, hopefully in a few years we'll get the 'Black Flag' of the far cry series.
So long as it's a good story I'll play. Progressivism in games doesn't bother me, if it's purposeful.
I only hate it when it's shoehorned in and offers nothing of value to the story or gameplay... that's when it gets my nose out of joint.
Last of us was a fantastic game.... Then they forced that "Ellie is a lesbian" horseshit down our throats with the DLC, and then in game 2 they killed off Joel within 30 mins of game play because wahmens don't need no man to save 'em.
Devs can do whatever they want of course. But forced progressivism in games is a real turn-off for me.
I wonder if gus will meet nacho before he becomes vaas?
At least it's far cry 6 and not Far Cry Free-to-play. Things could be worse
