Total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases rise to 12.5 million worldwide

The global tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases rise to 12.5 million on Saturday, the US contributing to almost a quarter of the tally. A rise in the US death toll is expected due to an alarming rise in the number of cases in states in the South and West. According to data collected by John Hopkins University, Friday accounted for more than 66,000 in the US.

Deaths are less than 800 a day and staying there. Probably less. The deaths they are taking about already happened in Democrat controled cities. New york and new jersey being the worst. Some Democrat states did a better job than others. California for it's population wasn't that bad. These include the New York-area districts, as well as those in the Boston, Detroit and New Orleans metropolitan areas. The average death toll in each of these hardest-hit districts was 1,122 as of May 20.
