Voting done in unofficial pro-democracy poll by citizens of Hong Kong

Over the weekend, hundreds of citizens in Hong Kong could be seen standing in queues in order to cast their vote in unofficial polls held in the city. The polls were held to select the strongest pro-democracy candidates. The candidates will help to try and seize control for the first time from their pro-Beijing rivals. Nearly 200,000 people participated in the city’s pro-democracy primaries.

"Hundreds of thousands of Hongkongers queued to cast ballots over the weekend in an unofficial poll to select the strongest pro-democracy candidates, who will aim to seize control from pro-Beijing rivals for the first time." I have a strong feeling that the candidates who get the max voted will be scooped up by China and put behind bars.
