15,000 cases reported in Florida in one day, new record set

Florida marked its highest single day increase in the cases of COVID-19, as it recorded 15,000 new cases. The latest surge comes a day after Walt Disney World in Orlando reopened to visitors, and welcomed them with safety measures, including temperature checks and masks. The state also broke New York’s record of 12,847 new cases which was set on April 10. The state also reported record testing.

Increase testing and you increase identification. Decrease testing, reduction in identification. So what is being identified? CDC say the rolling.. 'A positive test result shows you may have antibodies from an infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold'. So is it beyond imagination that when testing a populace at random, positive results are huge? Who has not had the common cold? https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/serology-overview.html

This was always going to happen. i said as much, with no shred of happiness in doing so, back in February... The USA's "worst of all possible worlds" healthcare system was always going to create a shadow group of uninsured and financially scared spreaders. Who is most likely to be part of this shadow spreader group? Service workers... Taxi drivers, Food and delivery staff. People who interact with hundreds of humans every day... This was inevitable.
