Australia suspends extradition treaty with Hong Kong

Post China’s stringent security law implementation in Hong Kong, Australia suspended the extradition treaty it shared with the latter. Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison declared that the country will be extending a range of visas from two to five years, moreover, citizens of Hong Kong will also receive preference for permanent residency visas.
