PepsiCo beats Q2 revenue & profits estimates on snacking boost

PepsiCo beat analysts estimates for Q2 revenue & profit helped by a surge in demand for snacks including Fritos & Cheetos during lockdowns. Overall, net revenue fell about 3% to US$15.95bn beating analysts estimates of US$15.38bn. Net income fell to US$1.65bn, or US$1.18/share, in Q2, from US$2.04bn, or US$1.44, a year earlier. Adj Net income stood US$1.32/share, beating estimates of US$1.25.
