Apple will spend $400 million of $2.5 billion on affordable housing this year

Early 2020, Apple pledged to spend $2.5 billion on affordable housing in California. On July 13, 2020 Apple has started by dedicating $400 million in a private-public partnership with Housing Trust Silicon Valley to provide affordable housing in the North, East and South Bay areas, as well as in other areas such as mortgage and down payment support, supporting construction, and more.
