Apple owes users $25 for slowing down their iPhone

Earlier this year, Apple agreed to pay up to $500M to US consumers as part of a settlement that came out of its iPhone ’batterygate’ saga. Eligible owners can now apply for a settlement of $25 each. Users must have or had an iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and or an iPhone SE. Apple had admitted to intentionally slowing down older devices with ageing batteries.

They rip the public off, by pushing them to spend $1,000+ on a new phone. Only to be forced to give them $25 back if cought? Apple won!
