Beijing’s Hong Kong office warns pro-democracy poll could violate security law

Beijing’s Hong Kong office Monday said the primary elections of the city’s pro-democracy main opposition party held in the weekend could violate the new security law. The Liaison Office accused the opposition party, and the organizer of the election, Benny Tai, of planning ’a Hong Kong version of ’color revolution’ by seizing the power.
