China to sanction Lockheed Martin over Taiwan arms sale

A Chinese state spokesperson said Tuesday they have decided to place sanctions on Lockheed Martin, following US approval of a Taiwanese purchase of upgrades to Patriot III missiles for about $620M. Foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian called on the US to stop selling weapons to Taiwan, and cease joint training with the China-claimed territory, to avoid further harming the Sino-US ties.

Posturing, nothing more. It's not like Lockheed was selling a ton of goods to China, anyway. And we've been selling arms to Taiwan for decades.
