CDC: COVID-19 could be under control in 1-2 months in U.S. if people wear masks

CDC director Robert Redfield claimed on Tuesday that COVID-19 could be under control in the U.S. in 1-2 months if everyone wore a mask. The CDC and the WHO suggest that people wear masks to slow its spread. According to data by Johns Hopkins University, as of Tuesday, it infected over 13 million people globally and killed at least 574,600 people. Redfield stated that it’s now time to wear a mask.
