Manhattan DA asks Supreme Court to rush Trump tax return ruling to lower courts

Hours after Trump’s lawyers told a judge Wednesday they plan further challenges to the Manhattan district attorney’s efforts to see the president’s financial records, Manhattan DA Cyrus Vance asked the Supreme Court to immediately send to lower courts its ruling that the president is not immune from having his returns subpoenaed, warning a delay could thwart the filing of possible criminal charges

"could thwart the filing of possible criminal charges" - oh please, be honest. There will not be any criminal charges coming from the tax records. If 4+ years of hyperpartisan, irrational, intense scrutiny has not found a single thing to charge Trump with a criminal offense then there won't be anything in the tax records either. This is just harassment and a tinfoil hat witchhunt.
