US certainly looking to ban TikTok in the country confirms Pompeo

Secretary of State Pompeo in an interview in Fox News said that US is certainly looking at restricting TikTok and other Chinese social media apps, reviving national security and privacy concerns. Pompeo also mentioned that Americans should only download the popular video-sharing app if they want their private information in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party.

FINALLY! It's not the Chinese per say, it's the communist! Remember, the question isn't how dangerous the LEFT is it's how are we going to deal with them.

If China can use a social media app for nefarious means, isn't it possible that the US spy agencies (or political parties) are using social media apps for nefarious means a well?

Whats will all the nurses do now that they won't be able to tik tok. Guess they'll have to go back to treating their patient's, instead of ignoring them and dancing with their corpses for internet fame.

It can't possibly be that hard to make a copycat app with EU/US control.

Yet another distraction from the real problems that are apparently too hard for trump to deal with. Banning an app used primarily be teenage kids is a distraction. First blame the virus on China because of an ineffective response on your part, then try to find something else to distract. In fact I bet they got this idea from India, so it’s not even original. Meanwhile the devices used to run the app are made in China, Ivanka’s clothes are made in China, and corporations who got bailouts and tax breaks still make stuff in China. Most Americans know better than to fall for this.

So, according to the far-right conservatives we should ban apps, books, movies, news papers, television networks, and everything else that goes against the propaganda they support. The only thing allowed is Fox news and the Bible.
