Siberian heatwave ’clear evidence’ of climate change

A recent heatwave in Siberia that saw temperature recording an unheard of 38 degrees Celsius was ’almost impossible’ without human-caused climate change, a study has found. Authored by a team of climate scientists, led by the UK Met office, it also found that the prolonged heatwave from January to June this year would only have happened less than once in every 80,000 years without climate change.

Before you deem the climate scientists as part of an elaborate climate change hoax, read this: The study was co-ordinated by the World Weather Attribution whose past work has found some weather extremes were NOT triggered by climate change. "But 2020's Siberian heat wave stood out among the many studied" Lets not shunt research entirely as hoax.
