Environment, labor rights could get hurt by Indonesia’s reforms: World Bank

Some of the planned reforms by Indonesia to make labor and environmental reforms more business friendly have been criticized by the World Bank. The Bank warned the country that the reforms could have adverse effects keeping in mind the current pandemic. The release of the report by the World Bank coincided with protests organized by trade unions in several cities of Indonesia.
