COVID-19 victims honored in Spain

In a ceremony led by King Felipe VI, Spanish dignitaries paid tribute to the victims of COVID-19 and health workers while wearing black masks. White roses were laid on a black pedestal which was surrounding a bowl containing burning coals. The ceremony outside the Royal Palace in Madrid was attended by roughly 400 guests, including relatives of some of the more than 28,000 victims of the disease.
