Floods and landslides triggered by heavy monsoon rains have killed at least 221 people across South Asia over the past month, and have rendered more than 1 million people marooned in Nepal, Bangladesh and India. Nepal has reported 117 deaths, while India confirmed 101 people died of rains related incidents. Bangladesh’s toll is 3.
