Swells leave homes at risk of collapse on Australian coast

Huge waves pummeled the Australian state of New South Wales, eroding coastal areas and leaving beachfront homes dangling and in danger of collapse. Authorities say they recorded waves as high as 11m (36 feet) off the Sydney’s coastline. The tide had carved out some soil under houses, leaving foundations exposed. Residents of some houses were ordered to evacuate.

In its 2018 State of the Climate report, it was noted that sea levels had been rising around Australia due to warming ocean temperatures and "climate change had also led to an increase in extreme weather events such higher-than-normal rainfall and powerful storm surges." How long are we going to take climate change as a hoax?
