Top Democrats tell lawmakers and delegates to skip nomination convention

Democratic leaders have told congressional lawmakers and party delegates to skip the DNC set to take place next month owing to the Covid-19 pandemic. Former VP Biden, will still appear to deliver a keynote speech and accept the nomination, along with few other party leaders. As per The Times, most of the events associated with the convention are expected to take place online or will be canceled.
