Yves Rausch, 31 had fled into the forest near Oppenau, Germany after confronting four police officers and stealing their weapons at gunpoint. 2,500 officers searched the forest using thermal detectors and dogs. After 5 days of hunting Rausch, he was found hiding behind a bush with four handguns and an axe on his lap.
