India, US sign initial agreement on emergency oil reserves

The US and India signed a preliminary agreement on Friday on cooperating on emergency crude oil reserves. Officials plan to discuss details of the emergency reserves in the next months. The plan also includes the possibility of India storing oil in the US emergency stockpile. India is the fourth-largest export destination for US crude.
