Pastor stabbed during Virginia church service, suspect taken into custody

During a Bible study class at Grace Covenant Church in Fairfax county, a man burst into the church and stabbed the pastor. Two men, one being police chief Edwin Roessler and the other an unnamed church member, quickly apprehended the suspect and held him down until police arrived and arrested him. Roessler and the pastor were taken to a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Okay... Why? People don't usually stab others for no reason... Did he have a personal grudge against the man? Was he having a drug induced psychotic episode?
