Turkey suspends flights to Iran & Afghanistan due to Covid-19 outbreak

According to the Transport Ministry, Turkey has banned flights to Iran & Afghanistan as part of measures against the COVID-19 outbreak. Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that 25mn people could have been infected with the Covid-19 in Iran, however health officials later tried to play down this estimate. Hence Turkish Airlines which had restarted international flights in June suspended flights.

That's roughly equal to the combined population of the bottom 82 countries of the world. If this isn't a major crisis, I don't know what else is.
