KFC teams up with Russia’s 3D Bioprinting Solutions to 3D print chicken nuggets

KFC has teamed up with Moscow’s 3D Bioprinting Solutions with the goal of producing the world’s first lab-made chicken nuggets. The firm is developing an additive printing technique using chicken cells and plant material, ideally, recreating the ’taste and texture’ of natural chicken while reducing animal involvement. KFC, will provide bread, spices and other ingredients for its ’signature’ taste.

Trying to make 3d printed food has been going on for a while, so im not surprised a food company has taken interest. My main like of thought, what would we do with farm animals once they are no longer the necessity to us that they have been for the past 50,000 years. They aren't likely to be able to survive wild since they are domesticated, and there no point in having so many of them around if we dont need them. So to the zoo , I guess.
