TikTok plans to add 10,000 jobs in US over next three years

TikTok is planning to add about 10,000 jobs in the United States over the next three years, the company said on Tuesday. The short-form video sharing app, owned by China’s ByteDance, has about 1,400 employees in the United States, up from less than 500 in January this year, it said.

10k jobs is a lot of jobs. There's no reason all those jobs have to be done in the US, maybe some do, China can pay much less for engineers there. This 10k is clearly an afternoon to save their propaganda outlet in the US.
