Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe has offered to deliver an annual threat assessment to the Senate Intelligence Committee early August, but has suggested to take questions from senators in a closed session. He cited the intelligence community’s ’collective concern about the exchange of information that is inherently classified’ as grounds for the arrangement.
