New Zealand minister fired for improper affair with staffer

PM Jacinda Ardern has fired her immigration minister over having a 12-month-affair with a staffer in his office. Ardern said she was unaware about the relationship and was tipped off by the opposition leader. She said that the minister, Iain Lees-Galloway, had a consensual affair with the woman and that he had accepted his situation was untenable. Lees-Galloway is married and have three children.
