According to a Reuters tally, the number of COVID-19 cases globally have crossed the 15 million mark. The most cases have been reported in the US, with 3.91 million infections. The top five most infected countries are rounded up by Brazil, India, Russia and South Africa. The rate of new infections is showing no signs of slowing down with the disease accelerating the fastest in the Americas.
