’Occupy City Hall’ encampment cleared out by NYPD

A group of homeless people and protesters was removed by the police from a park near New York’s City Hall. The protesters had been camping there for a month, and New York Mayor Bill de Blasio said that the removal of the protesters was not related to President Trump’s threats of sending federal law enforcers to the city to take on protesters.
