Legislation introduced in House to repeal Trump travel ban

The House of Representatives on Wednesday voted 233-183 in order to repeal the controversial travel ban enacted by President Donald Trump. The legislation was spearheaded by Rep. Judy Chu, and seeks to ensure that the Department of Homeland Security and the State Department will have to consult with Congress before imposing a travel ban. Failure to do so would render the ban null and void.
