Seven villages ordered to evacuate due to wildfire in Greece

A fire started out on Thursday at the east of the southern town of Corinth in Greece after a ’lull earlier in the day’. The residents were ordered to evacuate the town and counted as the seventh village to do so since the commencement of the fire on Wednesday. ’More than 270 firefighters, three planes and six helicopters’ were tasked with controlling the fire and no casualties were reported.
