McDonald’s & other giants now requiring ALL locales to enforce customer masking

’While nearly 82% of our restaurants are in states or localities that require facial coverings for both crew & customers today, it’s important we protect the safety of all employees & customers,’ the company stated. McDonald’s is following the lead of other giants (e.g. Walmart, CVS & Target), which in recent weeks have required all customers to wear a mask if they want to enter the premises.

No tide will turn with me until they can explain why cloth masks have been proven to be both ineffective at preventing transmission of covid and proven to increase your chances of respiratory infection. If they can explain that then I will consider using something in a way that it was never designed for and not capable of performing the task it is attempting to be associated with. https://aapsonline.org/mask-facts/

I don't agree with the whole mask thing. But, I will say, as a capitalist-libertarian, I support the right of a company to run thier business however they see fit. If you agree, you can vote with your dollar. If you disagree, don't do business with them. Most businesses are all about profitability.

The next step will be forced vaccinations, watch. Masks are similar to bump stocks in this way. They provide a buffer.

If masks work, why are local businesses closed? If they don't work, why are we asked to wear it?

Hahaha, easy remedy here dont eat there. Garbage food anyways. I hope their mask policy bankrupts them finally. More lives will be saved by boycotting Mcdonalds than a stupid unscientific mask policy.

Reading the comments makes think of the movie idiocracy. It's fucking mask, why are so opposed. You put it on your face and it stops your spit going everywhere. It's the same principle as your underpants, no one wants your shit on the seat. And this claim it causes infections is just ridiculous. Just change the mask twice day or every few hours if you're so paranoid. But literally no evidence of this being an issue, but you cling for an excuse. As for forcing you? They're a private company, they can do what they like to protect their employees. If a small sheet of fabric destroys your world, then there is something wrong with you.

This is not surprising. Whenever a big corporation talks about the "safety of our customers and employees", they are not talking about safety, they are talking about liability. Big corporations give zero fucks about your safety, only your wallet. Big corps are just massive, stupid cash cows, and the only thing on their mind is money. Anyone who has worked for or interacted with big corps on a business level knows how utterly inane they can with their rules and policies when it comes to taking and keeping all the money. There is zero intelligence involved, only greed. McDonalds declaring a universal rule like this is akin to declaring water is wet.

A private business like McDonald's can require people to wear a mask as a condition of service.

If those masks are not CDC certified or N95's then they are worthless and do nothing to protect you from getting Kung Flu.

And just how the hell are you supposed to eat a BigMac with a mask 😷 on brainiacs?

I have a breathing problem. I use nebulizer and a inhaler. It's hard to breath in a mask sometimes. But I want to protect other people besides myself. If I can make someone sick, then they can make me sick. A both way thing. I dont look at a mask as a political item. If it may help me or someone else, I will wear one. I'm just so confused this political issue over a mask! When it isnt political, it's for our health and safety!

Food that isn't suitable for human consumption? Pass... There's a reason McDonald's food doesn't mold for months after purchase.
