St. Bernard dog rescued after collapsing on England’s highest peak

A 121-pound St Bernard had to be rescued from Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, after it collapsed Friday evening while descending from the mountain with her owners. Sixteen volunteers from Wasdale mountain rescue team spent nearly five hours carrying Daisy on a stretcher over obstacles. Rescue workers said Daisy was displaying signs of pain in her rear legs and was refusing to move.

My Berner is about that same size. We've gone on some longer walks and when he gets tired he will just sit on the sidewalk or trail and refuses to move. So I wait...good to know they found a way to move the beautiful beast as I couldn't imagine moving my dog if he was incapable of moving on his own.
