Clashes with police in Baghdad leave two protesters dead

At least two demonstrators were killed after clashes between security forces and Iraqi protesters in Baghdad. Such an incident occurred for the first time after months at Tahrir square. Months of deadly mass unrest resulted in the square becoming a symbol of anti-government protests. Tear gas was fired by the police as they tried to contain the march from Tahrir to the nearby Tayaran Square.
