Have no regrets for Fauci op-ed, says Navarro

Peter Navarro, the Trade Adviser of the White House, in an interview given to Fox News, claimed that he has no regrets about his recent op-ed in USA Today in which he criticized Dr. Anthony Fauci. Mr. Navarro also revealed that he had not talked to Dr. Fauci since the op-ed came out. The White House had distanced itself and President Donald Trump from the op-ed.

This is getting a little annoying. I am a Trump supporter but I can also provide constructive criticism. The people of his administration need to be put in check. I wholeheartedly agree that Fauci has made some terrible predictions these past couple of months (I personally have a difficult time trusting his judgement), but we have all made costly mistakes recently. I also agree that the severity of the virus has gotten very questionable at this point. But if we are going to move forward, then It’s time for all of us to stop pointing the finger at each other and start working together. That includes the governors, the House of Representatives, the senate, the Trump administration, and Fauci. And they are giving everyone else the impression that Trump and Fauci don’t like each other when both have stated plenty of times that they enjoy working together to combat the virus and have a great relationship. It’s hurting Trump because he has to go out and explain to people every time that Fauci and him are doing great. I would advise the White House staff to stay away from these kinds of things.

And Mavarro has the same qualifications to judge Fauci as a box of rocks.
