Kodak wins $765M federal loan in push to produce domestic pharmaceuticals

Eastman Kodak Co. has received a $765 million government loan to help expedite the domestic production of drugs to treat a variety of medical conditions. Shares in Kodak shot up more than 60% on Tuesday after the announcement. The loan will help support startup costs needed to repurpose and expand Kodak’s existing facilities in Rochester, New York, and St Paul, Minnesota.
