VA doctor rejected suicidal patient, who died six days later: Report

A new report has revealed that the hospital staff at the Department of Veteran Affairs dismissed a suicidal patient who died six days after a visit. During the visit, a doctor reportedly shouted that the patient could ’Go shoot (themself). I do not care’. The patient, in their 60s, had a history of panic attacks and was released before being given required suicide prevention planning

It's a real shame how much our country seems to pretend to love our troops but how little they will actually do for them, seen first hand how long it took my father (a marine that served in Vietnam) to get a leg brace He literally had to wait years to get one and it broke in less than 12 months We need politicians that don't just give lip service to our soldiers and veterans The left and right are just as guilty as the other on this one
