EU restricts exports to Hong Kong over China security law

The EU imposed sanctions on China Tuesday in response to a security law being imposed on Hong Kong, restricting the export of surveillance equipment or technology to the territory that can be used for ’internal repression’. Additionally, the group said that they will monitor how the law is implemented and review the impact of the bloc’s joint response by the end of the year.

About time the EU stop being a chicken and stand up to the CCP. Otherwise there won't be an EU in 5 years.

Wait, were there not many more? I have seen conflicting reports here. Which is correct? A few or hundreds?

The EU have said they will restrict the export of security, defence and surveillance equipment and offer Hong Kongers improved Visa access - Also note in the Express article where EU Ministers have asked each of the 27 Members to implement the statutes as best they can. Lols - pretty lame
