Federal court to review ’protest bans’ in Portland arrests

US court officials in Oregon are reviewing bans on future protesting that were placed on some people arrested during protests in Portland, a stipulation First Amendment experts have called cause for concern. ProPublica reported that at least a dozen protesters arrested are prohibited from attending demonstrations within city or state limits while they await trials on federal misdemeanor charges.
