Air France-KLM hit with loss of 2.6 billion Euros in 2nd quarter

A reduction in workforce is expected as Air France-KLM announced a loss of 2.6 billion Euros during the 2nd quarter. The coronavirus pandemic significantly affected the airline as activity levels during the month of April and May 2020 were close to zero. As COVID-19 rules were eased by the government progressively, a rise of just eight percent was seen in the month of June.
