2,000 Walmart stores to sell Impossible Burger’s fake meat

The plant based Impossible Burger by Impossible Foods will be made available at Walmart. This is, by far, the most significant roll out of the company’s faux meat product. The burger is currently being sold at Kroger as well as Safeway, Albertsons and Vons. The burger will also be made available at Trader Joe’s next Monday. The burger can be bought across 2,000 Walmart stores in the country.

I was skeptical but they taste really close. On a bun with fixinga I cant much difference. Slight weirdness aftertaste only because you're paying attention. What I don't like is the PROPRIETARY ingredient nonsense high calories using suspect oils. The point is to be healthier and these are somewhat expensive. Figure in a couple years it'll be perfected...just hope I don't grow an extra arm on my back or whatever deom an unknown side effect lol.

I did a side by side comparison at my local BK. To me they tasted just about the same, the only difference was the lack of "staying flavor". Staying flavor is my way of saying that as I chewed it the "meatiness" flavor, not texture, became weaker over the course of the chewing. I assume fixing that slight issue would make them "impossible" for me to tell the difference.
